waffles are one of my favorite breakfast foods so naturally i love them smothered in nutella, berries and whipped cream. so last weekend when we found out the waffle love truck was like 5 minutes away from our house we decided to make a breakfast out of it. they are so so good, and very rich. they were really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way i like them. they were a little pricey {$8 a pop} but totally worth it. i could only finish half of mine so i think next time we will go for dessert and share one. yum. i need to find a leige belgian waffle recipe so i can try and copycat them and have a waffle party. wouldn't that be fun?! i'll invite you if you want.

I love Bruges in SLC so much. Especially in the summer with fresh Utah peaches. But I mean, Nutella doesn't hurt. I've been hearing about this waffle truck! I need to try it.

A friend of mine heard a story in our stake conference about this man's grandparents who hosted "waffle mania" each fast sunday after church. A new tradition was born. I've been to her waffle mania and it was fab. Get yourself the double waffle maker to cut out cooking time. Important information!
